About me

Welcome to my website. My name is Zsuzsi Papp.

I am originally a lawyer by training and currently I work as an international manager in a multinational company on the field of ethics and business integrity.
In addition to my work, I accompany individual clients as an integrative consultant, I facilitate group sessions using methods of integral psychology and as a goldsmith I also create jewellery.

Both creating and getting to know myself have been very important for me on my journey.

The joy of creation, creativity, new ideas and the realization of those have been part of my life since early childhood. My journey of self-development and quest started when I was about 14 years old.

At a young age I experimented both with pottery and enamelling and always wanted to combine the two techniques. I had the desire to create an object that incorporated the rustic beauty of the ceramics and the sheen, the delicacy and multitude of colours of the enamel.

I am fascinated by using and combining different materials. I have tried various techniques like beading, making wire jewellery, glass and silk painting, nuno felting (fabric felting technique, where silk and wool are combined) and enamelling.

However, enamelling, the technique that combines different materials, such as fused powdered glass, and metal, has had the most effect on me. I started learning cloisonné in 2013 from Csilla Kamenár, and from 2014 I have been experimenting with goldsmith techniques at Katalin Reményi’s workshop. From 2015 I have had the opportunity to learn from Ferenc Ötvös Nagy on his workshops on champlevé, cloisonné on soldered base and plique a jour.

I graduated as a goldsmith in 2021 at Szimultán Art School, where my teacher, Fanni Vékony’s approach to design influenced me greatly.

I’m a passionate traveller. I’m inspired by different cultures, people, architecture and the beauty of nature. For the jewellery I make I use enamel to conserve and help show the light and the vibrancy, vitality and depth of colours.

The other area of life that is important to me is the area of self-development.

Since I was 14 years old, I've been intrigued by finding out who I am and what lies beyond the shell of personality. The most inspirational philosophy on my journey was Buddhism. Relatively early on I realized that one belief system, culture or philosophy does not exclude the other, there is an ‘and-and’ relationship between them.

On the open day of the Integral Academy in 2020, I heard for the first time about the integral approach, which combines the teachings of western psychology and the philosophy or spirituality of the east. This approach of combining different methods, observing the world and oneself in a holistic way resonated with me immediately.

During the 3-year training, in addition to learning about the basics of various spiritual and religious traditions, I acquired theoretical knowledge of integral psychology and practical methods of individual counselling. I gained experience during hours of individual and group sessions and meditation practice. I graduated as an Integral Consultant in 2023.

At Bence Gánti I completed the sharing circle facilitator, the integral group facilitator and integral flow group facilitator training.

I work with my individual clients using the integral approach in Szentendre and online. I strongly believe that group sessions can provide a better understanding of our own functioning, as what we experience through how we connect to a group may provide deeper insights on our path of self-awareness.
